If you come across information and wanted to post it here I would appreciate it. I want to stay informed on this as much as possible.

Wile I think this is a good thing and a big step for Native Americans, I doubt it will last to long. All the US has to do is cut off supplies to the terratoris (gas, power, and water), or put high tarrifs on them, and I bet this movement will end rather quickley. I don't know how much farmable land and water sources they have. But unless they get a port city, and major support form other nations, I don't see an "Indian Nation" lasting to long. But they do have my support and I wish the the best of luck.

They have my support too. I have a very close personal afinity for the Lakota people.

Unfortunately, they got caught into the same welfare, government dependence trap as other tribes have. I'm hoping they succeed too, but the people have got to quit depending on Uncle Sam and rely on themselves for support.

I'd like to see ALL of the native tribes follow suit.

I admire them for taking a stand and wish them the best.

Heck, I might move there! I listened to Russell Means a few weeks ago on Free Talk Live and all you gotta do to be a Lakota citizen or resident is burn your driver's license. Sounds good to me. Drivers License vs Freedom? No contest.
