Skeptical Scientists Urge World To ‘Have the Courage to Do Nothing' At UN Conference

http://epw.senate.gov/public/index.cfm?FuseAction=Minority.Blogs&ContentRecord_id=c9554887-802a-23ad-4303-68f67ebd151c

This is another topic in the main stream media that I just Think we are going to disagree on. All the planets are warming up, the sun is hotter. Yes that part is true, but why give the authority to the UN to tax us for something they have no control over?

global warming a "non-problem"? Only if you don't mind half the people on the planet dieing of starvation when farm land is turned into desert. Yes there is plunty of evidence that we are coming out of a mini ice age, and the warming of the planet is mostly natural, but that doesn't meen we souldn't be concerned with it at all. To simply play ostrach and put our heads in the sand and do nothing seems rather foolish to me. Now I now this carbon traiding bunk is just a big fraud like they said, but we realy need to look into non poluting energy sources, and make plans to do something when farm land becomes unfarmable.

Yah humanity needs to step up to the plate and take care of it's self. Starvation already kills many more than it should. Global warming really isn't the problem, the lack of compassion for those who are suffering now, and in the future, is.

Global Carbon Tax Urged at UN Climate Conference
Source

BALI, Indonesia – A global tax on carbon dioxide emissions was urged to help save the Earth from catastrophic man-made global warming at the United Nations climate conference. A panel of UN participants on Thursday urged the adoption of a tax that would represent “a global burden sharing system, fair, with solidarity, and legally binding to all nations.”
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Problem Reaction Solution.
Fake problem (Carbon Dioxide is not a pollutant, it is a building block of life)
Reaction is to tax the world
Solution, a toe hole into the Global Governance

Does it even matter anymore if its man made or just a change in solar systems weather pattern?
I believe most people are lookin' at it wrong...crops will fail, fresh water will try up, storms will become stronger and more frequent. If they will call it what it is "Climate Change" instead of "Global Warming" then maybe more people will listen. If we do nothing and we are contributing or causing rapid climate change, then shame on us. If the solar system is heating up then all the money we spent changing are environmental behavior will not matter...will have to learn how to live in 200 degree heat or under 100 feet of ice...what ever scenario you subscribe too (personally I believe warming brings on an ice age...the planet takes care of itself. It doesnt really care who lives on it.)

I am with you Joey, in that it will need to be addressed form a human perspective, the planet will take care of it's self.

So why are the governments of the world taking advantage of this to take more money from the industrialized nations to build a global government. Wouldn't it be better to to start an honest debate and let people decide what to do for there own existences instead of just stealing our money.
